The Wenoca Group meets on the first Thursday of every month, at 7:00pm at the Unitarian Church in Asheville, which is on the corner of Charlotte and Edwin Place (1 Edwin Place.)
At every meeting, there is an opportunity to meet new friends or catch up with old ones, learn about conservation issues or other environmental topics, and engage in related advocacy efforts.

The meetings begin with a half hour of socializing and refreshments, followed by Sierra Club conservation news and updates, and our outings schedule from our executive committee. These updates inform our members and the public of local and regional issues, our monthly events, and provide opportunities for advocacy action or other follow up activities.  Lectures on a wide variety of topics are scheduled as the main event to provide a more in-depth look at environmental topics and outdoor adventures. A question and answer period concludes the meeting.
